This pot is hand thrown. This inside is a white crackle glaze, hand mixed and developed by the artist.
These raku bowls are brought from room temperature to 1750 F degrees in less than two hours and then cooled to room temperature in less than 30 minutes in the artists back yard. The smoke is created with waste wood chips from a local Makerspace that would otherwise go to the trash.
Raku vessels, are not considered food safe.
